It’s been a good start to the year. What looked like being a quiet January turned into a surprisingly busy one! We worked with lots of long term clients on many events locally. We also started working with some new clients who were extremely complimentary of the crew (it’s always nice when they take the time after a job to email their thanks). Two of those clients have already re booked so hopefully the start of new working relationships. February half term is always quiet so I thought I’d get away for a break and catch up with family in New York. Contacted all my regular clients warning that I might not be able to respond as quickly as usual and to give me as much notice as possible for any crewing needs….this worked pretty well (ha ha) and all calls were answered (even those at 5am!) and all jobs fulfilled! Arrived back to a full on week with multiple jobs each day, no time to ease back into work! Last few days have been spent talking to potential clients who have contacted me about projects later this year, I’m optimistic that some firm bookings will come out of this. The crew have, as always, been great, representing themselves (and SEC) extremely well and taking care of business whilst I was away, thanks!!
