As expected, September was an incredibly busy month here. August into September saw us at Goodwood Revival, building the roller skating rink, a catwalk show and viewing platforms. It’s a really lovely event with everyone putting the best kit in to complement the beautiful cars there. Amongst other events, Brighton hosted the TUC , Brighton SEO and Labour Party conferences at the Brighton centre. We were involved in all these events. At the Labour Party conference we were booked by several companies on a variety of jobs (building stands including the BBC’s, furniture moving, AV set ups etc). We supplied the crew for Jeremy Corbyn’s rally at The Level, new clients for us who were very happy with the crew. Worked on a couple of outdoor events (Boundary and Social) and struggled in the mud but jobs got done. It was nice to be able to book the crew for nice, clean corporate events after these! In the last couple of weeks we’ve had some of the boys out on sound tech and set chippy calls. It’s been good to get them using their skills (and also for clients to see that the general crew that we supply have got these skills!). The last week crew have been working on a car exhibition at Dunsfold. They have seen the most amazing cars all gathered in one venue. Sorry, but no pictures allowed!
