This is a difficult post to write. A couple of months ago we lost a member of our team. It was totally unexpected and a huge shock to all. Out of respect, and in line with his family’s wishes, I won’t use his name.

He had only been working with us for a few months but we all felt such a loss when we heard the news. He was a rare soul who had such a great energy about him. He was interesting and interested in others and saw the best in people. He was a talented musician and poet with great potential and seemed to have so many plans for the future.

When I had to break the news to the team, I personally received so much support from the guys who took on the job of making sure everyone was informed. It also brought to light how most of the crew had been affected with similar personal losses over the last few years. We’re all looking out for each other and will try to offer support.

I have, today, made donations to two charities, ‘MIND’ – specifically for support with mental health issues – and ‘Help Musicians’ as they offer support in all sorts of ways and it would seem appropriate with so many of the crew working in music.

Links to the charities are below if you too would like to lend your support. Thanks
